At the start of each session you will connect with yourself, notice your breathing, your energy levels, body scan from the feet to the top of your head, lengthen and slowly start to release your tissues.
The session will involve standing, sitting, and lying on your back, side or front. Small equipment is used to aid or challenge positions, as well as to release tissues or provide proprioceptive feedback (balls, bands and weights).
During each series, you will practise and progress on the 34 exercises devised by Joseph Pilates, using the six principles of concentration, breath, centring, control, precision and flow. All movements can be modified to suit your level of ability.
At the end of each session, we integrate the body and mind to ensure you are ready for the rest of your day.
